Ben Lawers from the visitors centre. Up Coire Odhar then followed a diagonal up to the Ghlas Lawers col. Followed ridge to summit. Followed pretty much same route back following the best snow.

Thick cloud 700m base to start. Stayed overcast but hills cleared around 2pm to give just enough contrast for a crackin ski!

Warm and sloppy lower down though enough cover to skin and ski from the top of the enclosure. Lots of cover above 800m. NW slopes at the summit well covered with firm snow. Gorgeous ski! Road still icy so take care but passable with care.

Creag Meaghaidh from Aberader. Hour walk to 650m to start skiing up Sron a Ghoire. Followed the cornice line round to the summit for lunch. Return to Raeburn's gully for descent to Lochan a Choire. Skinned up to 1001 point on Sron a Ghoire and then back up to 1050 for another descent north to the small lochan. Back to 1001 and home.

Mostly sunny.

Hard on top; soft and powdery on north facing slopes; spring like from 800m.
