Complete cover for entire route. Mostly quite firm, a little breakable crust on south and west facing aspects, plenty of powder in the hollows. A great day except for leaving our poles behind in the car park (see Glenshee lost poles thread!). Will try to get some photos up tomorrow.

From Glenshee Car Park between Cairnwell and Aosda to Carn a Gheoidh and An Socach. Back on line to south of Loch Vrotachan

Intermittently foggy and sunny on tops, with mainly good visiblity below 800m. Freezing all day above 800m

Very variable snow, with patchy soft, wind sculpted and packed snow near the tops, bearing crust between 780m and 680m elevation and much heathery breakable crust lower down. Depth of cover variable, with significant drifting.

Glas Maol from ski centre car park. Little skiable snow on summit so didn't go beyond NW ridge

Blue skies, warm but with a fresh southerly wind on the tops.

Patches of snow on Sunnyside, better on Meall Odhar and Glas Maol, best cover in Coire Fionn. Nice spring snow throughout, but melting rapidly in the warm sun. Saw at least one barbecue being lit on the drive home.

A93 at Baddoch to Carn An Tuirc; burn line to North

Overcast, SW wind 20-30kts, rain showers, cloudbase 950m.

Excellent spring snow! Firm yet resilient and great for tele-ing. Just not that much of it. Burn line skiable down to c. 680m.
