Lovely day with a bit of mist from time to time. Could of done with a bit more wind for the snow kite.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion

A wee tour up and down 'Willy Knott' and 'Brae Fell' 585m on the Caldbeck Fells, the most northern hills in the Lake District. Intention was to snow kite but there was no wind, so walked all the way to the top of Brae Fell. Managed a wee sesdion up there with the kite before a huge hail/snow shower stopped play. The 8m kite however made a great shelter until the shower passed and left me with a nice sunny 2k.m. decent.
:: Weather Conditions
Sunny spells and heavy snow/hail showers. Wind 5 m.p.h. variable, freezing around 400m.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
5-10 c.m. fell over night turning the Lake Distirict back to a winter wonderland. Drifting had occured in the s.w. wind depositing snow especially in any gullys, creating some nice powdery decent lines.
