:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
A quick morning tour up and down the eastern slopes of Clough Head on the northern edge of the Helvelyn range.
:: Weather Conditions
Clear with feezing around 300m. Wind was decreasing but still blowing around 30mph on top.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
The east - southern aspects of the Lake District have caught a lot of snow over the last few days and large areas of snow cover prevail. Drifts build to 50c.m. - nearly 1m. Snow was fantastic grippy wind blow powder, dare I say some of the best turns I have had in the Lake's (or that could just be my childish excitment at some great first turns of the season)

Sticks Pass, Raise and The Dodds from Thirlmere.
:: Weather Conditions
Perfect. Sun, little wind.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
A mixed bag. Quite rocky on top. The eastern slopes were not great with grassy hummocks and crust. Western slopes tended to be better with a very good run off Stybarrow Dodd towards Sticks Gill. Similar aspects appeared to have the same type of snow and would also make good descents.

From Kings Head Hotel, Thirlspot (A591 South of Keswick) walked to 650m on North branch of Brund Gill, skinned to Raise summit (883m), descended to Lake District Ski Club hut - 'Riffugio Bernie' for lunch, returned the same route.
:: Weather Conditions
Freezing at valley level when we set off and not much above in the afternoon. Fairly bright day, harsh wind chill, a few light snow flurries.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Snow cover limited to higher eastern fells, seams elsewhere, limited touring potential at present, good drift in Savages Gully, no lower tow track, good descent to west of Raise, narrow lower, all snow firm and grippy, great to be out for the first tour of the season and hey it is only November.

Multi day tour around the Lakes.
Day 1 : Wasdale - Green Gable - Buttermere - Honsiter - Borrowdale
Day 2 : Borrowdale - Thirlmere - Grisedale Tarn - St Sunday Crag - Patterdale
Day 3 : Patterdale - Fairfield - Grasmere - Langdale
Day 4 : Langdale - Angle Tarn - Esk Hause - Wasdale
:: Weather Conditions
Excellent on first 2 days, breezy yesterday, rough today with very strong NE Winds.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Everything from boiler plate to deep windslab. In general, north and east faces bare, with the softer stuff on south and east, but some south faces also subject to freeze / thaw therefore icy. Best descent was St Sunday Crag to Deepdale, > 600m vertical. Other worthwhile descents from Fairfield into Grasmere and surprisingly, Green Gable into Warnscale Bottom. Today's wind will have changed the conditions considerably.
