Report
:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
A quick morning tour up and down the eastern slopes of Clough Head on the northern edge of the Helvelyn range.
:: Weather Conditions
Clear with feezing around 300m. Wind was decreasing but still blowing around 30mph on top.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
The east - southern aspects of the Lake District have caught a lot of snow over the last few days and large areas of snow cover prevail. Drifts build to 50c.m. - nearly 1m. Snow was fantastic grippy wind blow powder, dare I say some of the best turns I have had in the Lake's (or that could just be my childish excitment at some great first turns of the season)
