Campsie Fells: Holehead (550m) from the Crow Rd, before a day's work. If you live nearby, forget the Highlands and get on the Campsies plateau now.
:: Weather Conditions
Astounding. Minus 5 on leaving the car, then sunbathing without a jacket in the plateau stillness.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Deep snow from road. Recent freeze/thaw means the general cover, at least 40cm, has easily compressed the longer veg, so no need for linking, and no floundering (unless you take skis off!). Drifts up to 90cm, especially along the wall/fence where there are nice sastrugi, mostly shallow and easily avoided.
Lovely firm snow giving open-slope skiing, slightly crusty but bound to soften during day.

Monadh Liath area - Geal Charn 926m
Skied from Spey Dam up Glen Markie. Crossed the river at the bridge then climbed the mountain by the north east ridge. Returned by the same route.
:: Weather Conditions
Blue skies. Biting wind on summit, but much of route sheltered from the prevailing wind.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Hard base with pockets of softer pleasant snow. Skinned from car but had to walk back for the last half kilometre or so.

Ski Tour in the Drumochter Hills. Ascended north ridge of Creagan Doire Dhonaich, continued to Meall a' Chaorainn and A'Bhuidheanach Bheag plateau. Returned by same route.
:: Weather Conditions
Dry weather, strong northerly wind on plateau. Sun for much of the day, but some cloud above summits.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Mainly icy with some softer areas. Reasonable coverage higher up, with some heather bashing on the ridge lower down. Skins on and skis off at side of the A9.

Walking up and snowboarding down White Wisp hill - in the Ochil Hills north of Dollar. On the way down managed to make it all the way to the Castle Campbell car park - with just one 15m walk (after jumping a water hazard).
:: Weather Conditions
Sunny but with increasing strong wind near the summit
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Sheep packed snow on the approach from Castle Campbell turning to icy and windblown higher up. Between 6 and 12 inches depth on most places. On the descent was hard and icy near summit but turned to soft powder in the sheltered bowl on the Southern face. A lot of long vegetation stems showing through but few rocks visible.

We managed to squeeze in a splitboard ascent of Ben Bowie (between Helensburgh and Balloch) via forest access road and descent of the same route this morning. Followed by apres ski coffee in Helensburgh Costa! I never thought I'd see the day.
:: Weather Conditions
Broken clouds, moderate easterly breeze, sub zero at all elevations.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Light powdery snow from the roadside with a layer of hoar frost on higher elevations. We were able to ski from the car and board right back. Track a little rutted from the footprints of a thousand dog walkers!
