Greenside Law, Notman Law and Dollar Law from Manor Head South of Peebles. (10Km)

High cloud and sun. -2 dg C at 300m
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Good snow cover so skinned skied all the way. 5-10 cm of windslab on top of older snow (broke away as skinning).

First night of opening of East Kilbride Ski Centre. Rails and tree skiing in Peel Park. The route was completed at The Gardenhall Inn.

Light snowfall and darkness...

4-5 inches (8-9 man inches) of fluffy soft snow on a tarmac and grassy base.

Craig Meagaidh from Carn Liath, descent by Moy Burn

Dry, sunny, wind E 5kph. Freezing around 900m.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
A few cm of soft snow on a firm base. Small amount of re-distribution by NE winds. Minor sastrugi. Overall really amazing cover on the ridges and no rocks visible on the plateux. Absolutely cracking descent to Moy on sun softened snow to 650m.
