Skied at the Lecht in the afternoon on Friday. Only Grouse Poma was open. A good day had despite the horrendous weather. Went for a skin round the back of the centre up the hill for the craic and then came back down the piste
:: Weather Conditions
vis was constantly poor throughout the afternoon. Strong winds and incessant snow prevailed.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Firm cover on runs however the wind had stripped almost all snow from the piste and left large patches of ice.

Ladder Hills - Lecht to Carn Mor and back.
:: Weather Conditions
Blue skies, light wind, dry, 0 to -2C all day.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Very icy. Looks like all the snow blew off the tops. Some small patches of thin snow on the ice. Some ice more grippy than other bits! Snow/ice down to 550m and filling gullies lower. Still good for nordics, but skins very useful.
