Across the Moine Mhor to Braeriach from Glen Feshie.

:: Weather Conditions
Brilliant !
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Brilliant, some windridges in exposed areas and most of the powder redistributed and subjected to melt / freeze cycle. Summit gully's of Braeriach looked in tremendous condition although there was lots of avalanche evidence with snow loosening and sliding away whilst we were there

Meall a Bhuachaille. Walked about half way up then skinned the rest from Glenmore. Skied down the SW face.
:: Weather Conditions
Sun, snow showers, no wind in the forest but very strong NE at the summit where the mist came and went.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Unconsolidated heavy snow until the upper slopes where it was wind scalloped powder drifting in the wind.
Good skiing high up although unfortunately as I was heading down the visibility closed in. Lower down I could have done with wider skis as despite sitting back it was hard not to sink.
Should be better once it consolidates and freezes.

West Gully, East Gully and Central Buttress Gully on Braeriach. Biked in via Glen Einach which is quite quick and hiked shortest line to top, under 3 hours from road to top. Did another steep gully on the north side to head back via loch but not recommended as snow harder, tricky cornices to avoid and rocks poking through.
:: Weather Conditions
Blue skies and sunny, light wind, almost too hot to ski and walk up the gully! Improved as day went on.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Lovely soft Spring snow, best in West Gully, little bit heavier in the other two. Also West Gully had the longest run with a good run out at the bottom. Easy Gully getting narrow but still wide enough for jump turns most of the way down.

Braeriach. Walked in via Rothiemurchus lodge then up Sron na Lairige. Skied West Gully and Central Buttress Gully in Coire Bhrochain, using East Gully as ascent route. Descent via Coire an Lochain - skied off the west shoulder then walked back underneath the boulder fields to the larig path and the lodge.
:: Weather Conditions
Fantastic bright and cold morning. Cloud formed by midday, but generally stayed off the tops and was well broken with good sunny spells. Cloud thickened later in the afternoon with showers of snow and hail.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Great spring snow in Coire Bhrochain.

Nasty rough bullet-proof stuff in the north-facing Coire an Lochain.

Braeriach from Glen Einich. Cycled in from Whitewell as far as the major ford of Beanaidh Bheag. Followed the stalkers path until circa 580m where on the south side of the burn the snow was continuous all the way into Coire Beanaidh. From there up to the col and then to the summit. From the summit skied west before heading straight down the brilliant burn line which drops straight back into Glen Einich at Grid reference 934004
:: Weather Conditions
Freezing level circa 950m, Cloud on the summit made for interesting navigation
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
snow conditions varying between powder stashes on summit area to heavy wet spring snow low down. The snow descends to 540m and only 5 mins from the track.

2 Ski tracks visible from a recent descent of the same gully
