:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Cycled from Linn of Dee to Luibeg, then slogged up Sron Riach to the top of Ben Macdhui. Walked back down to about 1250m, put boots & skis on, and descended the line of the Caochan na Cochaiche down to 700m where it meets the Allt Carn a' Mhaim. It was so good, I changed back into my trainers, and climbed back up to 1200m for another run.
:: Weather Conditions
Generally very sunny. The cloud to the west seemed to be held back by the Cairn Toul / Braeriach ridge, but the top of Macdhui was in and out of mist during the day.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Where the snow is level, it is very hard, but as soon as there is an angle on it, it was fine (the whole run faced south). The snow turned to good spring snow from about 1150m all the way until it ran out at 700m. The upper 300m was a very wide and smooth blue run, before narrowing to a few metres wide, and steepening to the equivalent of a red run.

Take the day off and go and do it!
