:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Ben Lawyers Road end skinned up road to road bend (622377) the across hillside to joni old drovers track abd burn flowing out of Coire Chonnaidh. Up on good snow to shallow corrie on SE side of Beinn Ghlas (stopped at widnscoured rocks and just below summit gulley. DEscent down on reasonable snow to to about 680m. Skinned back up to peaklet on left hand side at about 950m. Some slab on Se aspect 6 -8 inches. Mixed snow on descent powder, slab, crust, water ice, the usual scottish bag. Skied down burn to fence line and then between both sets of old sheilings to road. Red run back to car.
:: Weather Conditions
ovecats with snow throughout. Very cold at about 12pm. Suprisingly light winds despite forecast and Cameron McNeish doomsayer on radio in morning.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Mixed snow on descent powder, slab, crust, water ice, the usual scottish bag. Shallow sheltered ares had very good scottish powder. some deep unconsolidated areas. Larger SE faxcing slopes could be challenging.
