:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
After the car did not make it out the trees on the road up to the Ben Lawers visitor center, it was a short walk before putting the skis on. Skinned to the top of Ben Ghlas, before having a change of plan and descending the NW ridge without falling off the cornice. Not the best route down. Alan and I continued to the East face of Meall Corranaich, having a run down that before going back up and skiing the south face from the summit into Coire Odhar. Skied back to the last bend in the road before it enters the trees.
:: Weather Conditions
Stunning.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Generally good, although there were scoured areas (the NW ridge of Beinn Ghlas being a prime example!). Some superb powder where the sun hadn't got to it. Coire Odhar had the best snow of the day making an enjoyable cruise back to the road. It will be very different by now.
:: Skiers/Riders
Pete, Alan & Helen
