I am not sure that we were properly equiped for this back country excursion. Car jump starter kit and a ski helmet.

   
Eric gets waist deep in a disused lead mine. Radical terrain.

Several of the runs were pretty long. But not much vertical

Brucy leads the way into the murky depths of a tyndrum lead mine

Tyndrum Lead Mines. Last worked in the early 1800's.

The west coast weather forced us underground for the day for a spot of Subterranean Spelunking
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
It seemed to be thawing above ground. Below ground things were really wet. muddy and somewhat damp. However good shelter from the storm force winds.
