:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
The Aging Freeride Team were allowed out for a special birthday outing and used an unticked Munro as the excuse to head to Lochnagar. Having broken all the rules about ignoring Munros when skiing, we joined the queue for Blackspout, and immediately doubled the average age of the gully participants for that day. Left branch was reluctantly followed (right was a bit rocky in the middle: immense thanks to young guys ahead for pointing out the entry) with a bit of embarrassingly poor sideslipping (by me). Nice ski down to the loch and then skinned out. Heather hopped through the snow patches and stream beds back to about 500m.
:: Weather Conditions
Windy on top with threatening clouds which came to nothing. Balmy in the coire.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Skis on not far from marked memorial below Meikle Pap and could ski to the top (ahem, if you took the indirect route via Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach and a little bit of rockhopping). A week earlier would have made all the difference.

Lovely spring snow with great cover in the gully and throughout the coire.
