Sgur Gaoith is kinda that way!

Burn, baby, burn. You can just make out the switchback climb. Fun to ski down, though!

This is Stan.

The two gullies form the "V" shape in the upper left of the pic. Coire Ruadh is on the right and was looking well healthy, coverage wise.

Report
:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Started off on the path off the road by the bridge just before Glen Feshie Hostel. Went up through the lovely Caledonian Pine Forest and out to the corries below Sgur Gaoith. An hour's hike in before gittin' the skis on.
Skinned up to right near the peak.
Plenty of snow in the burn gullies and skinned up two of the corries just below Sgur Gaoith itself and skied down them...with much hooting.
:: Weather Conditions
On/off cloud. Bit of sun. Near whiteout near the peak at times. Bit of drizzle, Yadda,yadda,yadda.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Lush and silky smooth spring snow. Grippy fer skinnin' and right nice to slide and turn through.
Bit of heather hoppin' round the bottom to stretch it out and make it last until I put my hiking boots back on...
:: Skiers/Riders
Stan.
