Report
:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Started from Keiloch (Invercauld) cycled ~7.5km up glean an t-slugain. left bike at start of the "Fairy Glen" in upper Slugain.
walked and skiied a bit, then continous snow from the ruined lodge in "fairy glen" - fast travelling on skinny telemark kit. Skiied snow fields along line of walkers path to Clach a' Cleirich and started climbing traverse above Glas Allt Mor and onto Ben Avon summit. returned same route. 32km day, 5hrs30 travel time a wee bit faster than the 10-12hrs suggested in Scottish ski mountaineering book, but bike and fast tele kit helped : )

Glas Allt Mor valley between Clach a Cleirich and "the sneck" was a real gem to ski, a fantastic remote snow-filled valley.

enjoyed testing the new RS sektor shocks on the way home.
