Report
:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Lightning Hill and across the tops to Wether Law. 10 miles south west of Hawick.
Used yesterdays tracks to take some of the sting out of the initial climb then over the top towards Wether law. Then 250m descent of SW shoulder back to valley and along farm track back to car
:: Weather Conditions
Cold and windy on the summits but sunny and small clouds scudding across the sky. Pictures are a bit misleading as some of the gusts were ready to knock you over!
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Windcrust and perfect powder depending on the aspect.
Bit warmer in the Borders today with temps in Hawick in plus figures for the first time in days. Still cold higher up and the snow still in excellent condition.
:: Skiers/Riders
Linzi and Pete
