Fantastic powder and one of the few times of good vis

Lightning Hill. Just off the A7 about 10 miles SW of Hawick near Mosspaul Summit.
:: Weather Conditions
Claggy cloud in and out all day. Some periods of sun but not many. Not many photos since vis not great and intense cold meant the camera gave up the ghost
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Deep unconsolidated snow in the valley floors and on southerly facing sheltered slopes. On easterly exposed areas there is a bit more windcrust. Breaking trail even on skis is hard work at the moment.
Fantastic couple of descents of 200m+ powder snow.
