:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Fantastic day out from Flotterstone again.

Skinned up to Turnhouse hill and then dropped off the back into the most amazing bottomless powder all the way down to Logan House. A short wander along (if you are on a board like me) or pole if on skis and then up the track back to Edinburgh.

Contoured round Capelaw Hill and then headed up Castlelaw hill. Dropped down to the west of the range on great snow but really flat light. And then a final deep powder run to the reservoir.

Beer and food in the pub! They must be loving this, their carpark and the public ones were rammed.
:: Weather Conditions
Started off with light snow and high cloud. Cleared to bright sun and blue skies.
Last hour though the next snow showers started coming in and the light got a bit flat.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Mostly deep powder. Thinner on the summits and some harder (but not icy!) bits here and there as well.

Can ski from the car park no problem.
:: Skiers/Riders
Mike (split board), Fiona (planks)
