Hillend - Caerketton Hill - Allermuir Hill - Swanston - bus stop back into town, via some wind blown powder stashes. Quite annoying where people have dug out their drives including the pavement to expose the tarmac!
:: Weather Conditions
I'll let the photo do the talking. Quite windy though.

Tinto Hill. Skinned up via main path. Descent of W ridge then onto S face on a SSW facing aspect, E of the S burn line from the bealach between Tinto and Lochlyock Hill had been catching the sun and had a powdery spring feel to it nice base with no crust, just beautiful, so we did it again! Then back up the W ridge and a ski back down on the W aspects of the NE ridge (main path which is well beaten for those without touring gear) was much nicer than expected. Fantastic day with, for the main part, bright blue sky.
:: Weather Conditions
For the main part, bright blue sky. At car -6 at 1000 and -10 at 1600!
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
A bit wind affected, some nice powder on S aspects.

East Cairn Hill - Western Pentlands near Livingston
:: Weather Conditions
Cloudy and snowing to start, but brightened up as soon as we reached the summit. Beautiful. No wind, and sunny.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Deep unconsolidated powder (thigh deep in places) made for tough trail breaking, particularly on tiny snowshoes (Verts). Plenty of windslab on west facing slopes, and got a shear in our snow pit with some effort. Will no doubt be far more unstable after today's thaw. South facing slopes had lovely powder.
