Ben Lawers from near bottom of car park access road. Put skins on at the hairpin bend, elevation 335m, and skinned via the Beinn Ghlas bealach and the north side of Ben Lawers to summit, elevation 1,214m. Tried descent to Lochan nan Cat, but retreated to summit for lack of snow. Probed potential descent routes before choosing the gulley closest to the ridge joining to Beinn Ghlas. Climbed up to Beinn Ghlas shoulder and skied down the south west side, removing skis on access road at top of wood, elevation 300m, i.e. 914m vertical between highest and lowest points.
:: Weather Conditions
Doesn't come better; cold, intense sun and slight wind.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Mainly narrow drifts of smooth bearing crust with patches of softer, rippled snow on south to south westerly slopes. Unskiable on other aspects. Usual grassy slither over last mile to ski take off point.

Coire Odhar from the NTS visitor centre car park, Ben Lawers. Just a wee tour on our journey home after a great couple of days on the lifts at Glencoe and Nevis Range, both in great shape as reported elsewhere.
:: Weather Conditions
Tops pretty much clear, bit breezy at times.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Walked about 15mins then skinned up on mainly wind blown new snow, old snow higher up in the burn lines and hollows. Headed up the flank of Meall Corranaich before an erratic but fun descent over all sorts of stuff...
