:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Ski Trails area.
:: Weather Conditions
Breezy. Snow showers.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
5-15cm of snow on all trails. Snow is thin in one or two places where you need to watch your bases on stones. However the snow on Leids Leap was OK & I had no problems skiing down it.

I skiied a full Haute Route circuit, out via Normans Way and Herring bone Hill and back down Leids leap. The Haute Route (upper track) was really nice, mostly just a single set of skiers
tracks through the pristine snow.
:: Weather Conditions
Cool and sunny until it set then a clear night. temperature at carpark level was around +3C when I arrived and just above freezing when I left
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Soft and wet, crisping up by the time I left. Lower trails are a bit thin with bear patches appearing, upper trails are very good, bar some damage to the snow pack due to streams in a couple of areas, but these are easilly crossed.

Me and Alan skiied a full Haute Route circuit, out via Normans Way and Herring bone Hill and back down Leids leap. The Haute Route (upper track) was really nice, just a single set of skiers
tracks through the pristine snow. We met another skier on herringbone Hill he was coming down it at speed as we went up. Met him later and he said he was practicing his downhill technique whilst it was quiet so he wouldn't meet anyone on the hill.
:: Weather Conditions
Sunny (until it set), was a light snow shower just as we were leaving. Temperature was +3C when we arrived and had fallen to around freezing when we left as the snow was crisping up.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
When we set off the snow was soft and wet. There has been between 2-4" of fresh since yesterday. On the lower runs it was still melting a bit in the skiers tracks, but higher up it was fine. As the evening progressed the temperature dropped and the snow was crisping up and getting a lot faaster. There are still a couple of bare patches caused by tree shadows and some areas are thin on the lower tracks, but the tracks are complete as the bare patches ar now less than half the track. Reckon as we were leaving at sunset the upper tracks would have been pistable (but our main pisteur is offshore at the moment and probably green with envy at missing the skiing).

Once round the haute Route up via Highland Fling, down Via Leids Leap. Then a shorter reverse loop up Shortcut and down via Highland Fling
:: Weather Conditions
Warm, dry and sunny, about +4C in the car park at 10am rising to +7C at 12.30pm when I left. Snow had frozen overnight.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Started quite crips, but rapidly softened. Entrance area is looking a bit sad, but once at the hut the tracks are in good conditions. There is still 2-4" of packed snow on the tracks, more in many places, but some areas, particularly those open to the sun are getting thin and bare patches are appearing. When i left all the main tracks were complete and it was possible to ski around any bare patches.
