:: Route(s)
B Gully and Backdoor gully, Glen Clova, Corrie Fee and Winter Corrie
:: Route Grade
Not Applicable
:: Weather Conditions
Warm but dry on sat, pouring rain on sunday.
:: Climbing Conditions
Little ice and rapidly thawing. Anything above grade II almost unclimable. B Gully in Corrie Fee had one ice pitch in it which was climbable but v thin and hard at the low grade!, Glen Clova area unlikely to be in condition again this year. By sun pm there was little left in any of the gullies and what there was was v unstable.

:: Route(s)
Sidewinder - No.4 Buttress, Coire an Lochain. Poor visibility, though cleared enough at times to give atmospheric views of the cliffs. Access paths - good - icy or crusty snow.
:: Route Grade
Not Applicable
:: Weather Conditions
Just below freezing, light snow flurries, poor visibility, wind about 10mph
:: Climbing Conditions
Apart from the abundance of loose new snow obscuring much of the rock, conditions were really pretty good, with some neve and ice build-up. Turf was frozen.

:: Route(s)
Lochnagar, curved buttress, original route, grade III/4.
:: Route Grade
Grade III
:: Weather Conditions
Around -2 & snowing all day, Summitted after dark in snow blizzard & gale.
:: Climbing Conditions
Just the right amount of snow. Frozen turf in good condition. a little ice in some crevices under snow. More snow will make routes a little harder. Freeze thaw will improve the snow stability. Avalanches were unlikely given the temperature and amount of snow. Note conditions must have changed by the time you read this.
