Looking over to stormbound Cairngorm

Upper section looking good

At this level it was quite calm

Skins on here . Skis were covered by wind blown snow in the short while I stopped to get the skins out and put on my Paramo

Looking out to the leeward side of the summit cairn.

Loch Morlich

This was the windward side of the cairn. Even in the shelter of the cairn standing up was difficult !

Wind packed and windblown powder above this level

Heather tufts to ski through lower down

Beautiful wave like shapes in the snow below the summit

Skis back on the rucksack here
