:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
An Chul Choire and Summit Gully, return visit (video and map of first trip here from last year: - http://www.steepscotland.info/aonach_mor.cfm)
Not quite as much snow as last year but gully still holds snow really well, careful not to go too far left as cliff band at the bottom.
:: Weather Conditions
Excellent clarity and lovely views. Warm in the sun with almost no wind. Wind picked up after 3pm and started to cloud over but still best day of season so far.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Very variable, perfect powder low on summit gully and slopes below down to bottom of Braveheart. Pretty good powder in An Chul Choire and lovely ridge descent down to col above. Some areas of wind slab and/or ice especially at tops of slopes or on ridges.
:: Skiers/Riders
Lard, Chad and Sophie (to Aonach Mor/Beag col and back)
