The stile near the summit trig point is redundant with this much snow!

Not much of a thaw occuring at the summit!

 
Plenty of snow lower down

Good cover lower down means you can skin from the car park

Langleeford to Cheviot and down South face of Cheviot and back to car park
:: Weather Conditions
Overcast with some bright spells, cloud level at about 700 metres. Freezing levels probably just above summit of Cheviot
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Generally thawing snow pack but good skiing on drift lines on upper mountain. Still good snow depths lower down and it is possible to ski back to Langleeford but too soft/heavy to give good ski conditions. Top of Cheviot is loaded with snow
