Edinburgh: From my flat in Leith around Holyrood Park and back. The hard packed pavements were a joy to slide along! Some quite interesting wee gully lines were being skied off Arthurs Seat, and almost all steep skiable areas were tracked out! Only had to remove skis to cross roads or where folks had dug out the pavement!
:: Weather Conditions
Snow Showers
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Powder and hard packed on pavements.

Macmerry->Winton - Night Tour From The Door

Start Macmerry, head through the park and out South West of village on bridleway past the riding school. Turn back East into Winton Estate in the wood. Followed forest trail up to the top of hill as far as the Hobbit Lodge. Back
same way then turn East and up the hill to West Bank farm. Back down the hill into the village.
:: Weather Conditions
Heavy snow showers -3. Put down another inch whilst I was out. How good is this cold spell?
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Good snow. Got above freezing during the day in the sun so paths are fast. Plenty of cover in the wood.
