What an amazing day! Left the car at Dalmunzie Hotel and skied pretty much from there. Skied along Gleann Taitneach and then skinned up into Glas Coire Mhor. From the Coire - up onto the ridge between that and Glas Choire Bheag. (quite steep ascent but snow excellent). Up ridge to summit of Glas Tulaichean. Descent was down the ridge to Glen Lochsie and back along the track to the Hotel. One of the best days out for years.
:: Weather Conditions
Blue skies. We skied from the car, and all the way back at the end of the day. FL below 300m
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Pretty much everything really: icy in places, mostly good but with a few crusty patches. Skiable snow right down to the Dalmunzie Hotel

Beinn Heasgarnich from top of hill track between Glen Lochay and Glen Lyon. Ascent by 909m hill. Descent by Coire Ban Mor.
:: Weather Conditions
Generally good visibility (needed to take a good line through the moraines), in and around freezing all day.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
The hill road was drivable with a Discovery. Enough snow to ski from the road with some to spare. Route choice influenced by the many burns and lochans. Soft fresh windblown snow on upper slopes. Ridges covered.
