Easy Gully. Then Summit Gully.
45 minute walk out - which puts a bit of a downer on the freeskiing fun. If only they had put the gondy in from Spean Bridge...
Pack hiking boots !
:: Weather Conditions
Proverbial Scottish sunny spells.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Super soft spring snow.
Ideal for dropping steep terrain (on skis with edges that have been rounded for rails - hamish !?)

Backtrack
:: Weather Conditions
Cloudy and cold in the morning with the sun paying a visit around midday until closing time.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Very icy to start off with, took a while for the sun to soften the snow down the back, and after checking with ski patrol we were finaly able to drop in about 2pm. At midday it was still solid.

The ridge was very icy and requires a lot of care but dropping in the snow was hard packed and spring like. Although it did feel a little heavy at the top of backtrack which made traversing interesting.

The rest of the run was fantastic, soft and almost powdery on top although watching a skier coming down what i guess was winger wall the top of the snow pack didnt look completely stable.

We went as far as the snow would allow, to i think just after the fourth tower down from the top of the braveheart. The walk out took 45 mins, rather boring but made all the more exciting with patches of snow allowing you to get a few turns in or just slide down on, on your arse.

Speaking to two skiers who came from summit gully? they said the snow was pretty hardpacked and icy at the top but still worth the long walk.

There are a few videos of our trip which ill post the link to in the forum once they are uploaded later tonight. With the weather to be much the same tomorrow i expect that it will be a late run for those wanting to drop in
