From the Meall Odhar home run.

The best runs of the day were here.

The lift was off, but the run is ready to go when the weather permits

The poma is ready to run., but the black has a severe avalanche risk.

There were a few soggy patches at the bottom, this was a bad as the soggy bits got.

:: Weather Conditions
A real mixed bag. First thing it was misty with a mix of rain and snow at car park level (it couldn't make it's mind up) and fairly windy. The snow stopped mid-morning and the weather started to clear, with intermittent sunshine, however the wind speed also increased and was affecting uplift by the end of the day. Freezing level probably above the carpark most of the day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
All runs have full cover, but with a few bare and soggy patches showing through due to a recent thaw although these were fairly isolated. First thing, the snow was very sticky and slow in all areas. This did improve later on, but it wasn't until 3pm ish that the stickiness seemed to have mostly gone. The Caenlochan runs were the pick of the day excellent wide cover all the way down and not too exposed to the wind.

All main lifts except Glas Maol and Carn Aosda were on at the start, but the chairlifts went off at lunchtime due to increasing wind speeds. Corrie Fionn also went off mid afternoon for the same reason.
