Cobbler, South Peak Approached from Glen Croe (good under foot)over col. Climbed North Face Groove (V,6)

:: Weather ConditionsVery cold. Mainly sunny (route in shade) Sheltered from the wind on route. One little snow shower late afternoon.
:: Climbing ConditionsExcellent conditions with well frozen turf. (North Peak largely stripped by sun, resulting in change of plan from Recess Route) Turf snowy, rock fairly clear. Split main pitch below crux to avoid rope drag. Felt quite necky moving up from end of crux traverse (turf becoming depleted?) A great route. No one else appeared to be climbing in Coire except on snow slopes
