:: Route(s)
Fiacaill Coire an' Sneachtda. Access paths completely clear of snow.

:: Weather Conditions
The gales forecasted never arose until later in the day but the cloud level was down to about 2000 ft. Light snow/sleet falling. Got heavier as day went on. On Sunday masses of new snow fell (at Kincraig by mid-afternoon there was about 7-8 inches).
:: Climbing Conditions
Went into Coire an Lochain first, could see enough of the buttresses to see there was no snow or ice on them, rocks dripping wet. Freezing level was at least 4500 ft.

Easy gullies in but we had to dodge falling lumps of snow from them. fresh avalanche debris present! Wandered up Fiaciall Ridge then down Goat Track. Easy gullies still do-able in Coire an'Sneatchda but buttresses mostly black. Aladdins Mirror Direct looked climbable but thin. Red Gully very thin.

Met people who had climbed The Seam who reported that it was "OK". Sunday I would imagine at least a foot of new snow in the corries, probably more.

:: Route(s)
Glissade Gully, Coire Sputan Dearg, Ben Macdui
:: Route Grade
Grade I
:: Weather Conditions
Cloud lowering steadily through the day; around 850m just before sunset. Cold, more or less no wind, occasional flurries of gritty little snowflakes. Slightly under 50m visibility in the cloud; couldn't see the route we wanted so settled for a gully instead.
:: Climbing Conditions
Gully full of good crisp neve; a little crusty in places, with maybe a 1" crust over softer stuff underneath, but generally pretty consistent. Turf on the buttresses looked pretty solid, and what water there was looked like it had been ice for a while (including on the paths).
